Role Details
Reporting to the Coordinator: Electrical, you will be responsible for planning and supervising high-quality maintenance and installation of electrical infrastructure on a wide variety of heavy equipment as used in the mining operations.

This role is offered on an 8 day on, 6 days off roster and is a fly-in, fly-out from Perth, or drive-in, drive-out (DIDO) for the local community.

Duties of the role:

  • Lead the day to day activities of the electrical team inclusive of contractors in a cost-effective manner, assuring awareness of performance targets, access to the necessary tools to achieve these and that their activities are aligned within company targets;
  • Ensure minimal disruption to production through ready access to critical parts, equipment, and service providers;
  • Provide ongoing leadership and mentoring for the Electrical team;
  • Develop and maintain training and development plans for the team;
  • Demonstrate full compliance with the OHS and Environmental Management System standards by assisting with the implementation and participating in initiatives, regular meetings, investigations, and training.

About You
You will have:

  • Demonstrated leadership, performance development experience within a mining environment;
  • WA A-Grade Electrical License plus HV switching ticket and experience in this field is essential;
  • Short-term planning experience would be desirable;
  • SAP and AMT knowledge would be highly regarded;
  • Valid drivers license.
