Northern Star has an exciting opportunity for a Growth Geologist to join our team of Geological Rockstars, where you’ll unleash your analytical and technical wizardry to unlock the secrets of geological data, identify key features and drive the success of our cutting-edge geology projects. Work in a dynamic and rewarding environment that will challenge and push you to new heights of excellence. This opportunity is offered as a Kalgoorlie based role on a family friendly 8:6 roster.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Utilise your analytical and technical expertise to accurately assess and interpret geological data from core samples.
• Supervise drilling contractors and provide expert guidance to maximize project efficiency and discovery.
• Be the gatekeeper of our geological data, ensuring that all drilling results, core logging, and laboratory analysis are accurate and reliable.
• Rock-solid foundation: Possess a fundamental understanding of geology and its processes, with a strong grasp on rock types and mineralogy.
• Data detective: Ability to analyse and interpret geological data effectively using advanced software and tools to unlock the secrets hidden beneath the surface.
• Collaborative communicator: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team, with the ability to adapt to different communication styles and collaborate with people from different backgrounds and disciplines.
