Due to a regional expansion of the HSR function we now have an exciting new role for an HSE Systems and Reporting Coordinator to join our Regional Sustainability team located in our Perth Office.

Accountable to the HSE Management Systems Superintendent, this role is responsible for the development and implementation of regional HSE-related systems and reporting to enhance business capability via user interfaces that assist stakeholder decision making.

The main tasks of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Investigating, analysing and interpreting business information needs based on a strong understanding of business processes, drivers and priorities;
  • Manage dashboards, reports and visualisations that enable data-driven decision making;
  • Create meaningful dashboard design for departments in the operations detailing project KPI progress and execution status achieved to date;
  • Formulate aligned reporting systems tools that outline sustainability performance across the Region;
  • Maintain Regional HSE-related systems (INX, iSIMS, ChemAlert, Genie, SolvInjury);
  • Maintain System licences and upgrades;
  • Develop standardised operational and regional reporting templates;
  • Coordinate the alignment and compliance of the Regional and Operational Sustainably Management documentation;
  • Identify and evaluate approaches to report design improvements related to business intelligence and advanced data visualisation;
  • Ensure that the reporting protocols are adequately scoped and that deliverables are clearly understood;
  • Liaise with BI team to action improvements requested from stakeholder feedback and ongoing review.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant vocational or tertiary level qualifications in related field;
  • Minimum 5 years operational experience in a similar mining or heavy industry role;
  • Minimum 5 years project management experience in related field.
