This is an exciting opportunity to join Northern Star as we embark on a new financial year with promising roles across our operations. We have open vacancy looking for an Open Pit Mine Surveyor based at Bronzewing Operations. This role be working on 8/6 roster FIFO ex Perth. Join us on our journey towards sustained excellence.

 

What you can look forward to:

  • Oversee the surveying and calculation of open pit mining areas, waste and ore stockpiles, pit wall monitoring, and any heritage/clearing areas.
  • Generate regular plans for the development of mine plans and designs.
  • Maintain survey records and field survey compliance to design.
  • May also be asked to assist with mine engineering projects, tasks and data collection.

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring

 

Expertise and Accomplishments:

Successful candidate should hold an Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, along with 2+ years of practical experience, preferably in hard rock open pit mining. Desirable skills include proficiency using Deswik/Maptek/P4D and exposure to spatial surveys via aerial drones.
