Reporting to the Senior Open Pit Engineer, this role will involve:
Drill and blast design;
Liaising with the contractor to meet targets;
Daily and monthly reporting;
Short term planning;
Supervision of the weekly mine plan.

To be successful in this role, we would like to see:
Tertiary level Mining Engineering degree or a comparable discipline;
Your positive and proactive approach and genuine commitment to safety and wellbeing;
Good communication and MS Office skills, particularly using Excel;
Permanent resident or the ability to work in Australia in a permanent role;
A West Australian C class drivers license (manual) and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance purposes;
Completion of at least 12 months practical experience is desired but not essential.
