Ramelius Resources is a successful ASX200 listed gold producer with six operations in Western Australia. Our gold mines include Edna May, Mt Magnet, Marda, Vivien, Tampia and the recently acquired Penny which will commence mining activities in 2021. We continue to increase our Life of Mine profile through discovery, development and strategic acquisitions.

Based in East Perth and close to public transport and parking options, the Ramelius team are seeking a Senior Resource Geologist for a permanent, full-time position.

Reporting to the Group Manager Geology, this role will involve:

  • Data evaluation and geostatistical analysis;
  • Generation and reporting of resource models for existing and new deposits;
  • Design and implementation of resource drilling program in conjunction with our Exploration and Mine Geology teams;
  • Evaluation of internal and external prospective projects and business development prospects;
  • Assist with Project approvals and provide input into some related areas including Hydrogeology and Metallurgy;
  • Enjoy involvement with project economics, reserves, regulatory approvals and development and collaboration with our site teams across six mining operations.

To be successful in this role, we would like to see:

  • Your positive and proactive approach and genuine commitment to safety and wellbeing;
  • Ideally, at least 8-10 years of mine geology experience, preferably from within a production environment;
  • Bachelor of Science (Geology) or any comparable, tertiary level Geological degree:
  • Significant gold mining exposure across at least several different deposits:
  • Effective resource modelling skills (we use Micromine however comparable software experience is welcome);
  • A West Australian C class driver’s license (manual) and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance purposes.
