To be successful the following is required:

  • Valid Australian or NZ Recognised Trade Certificate (essential)
  • Full AU / NZ working rights to be considered
  • Previous experience on Caterpillar, Komatsu or Hitachi machinery
  • Mine site experience
  • Post trade experience minimum 3 years
  • Strong commitment to Health and Safety
  • Full Drivers Licence
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a positive work ethic
  • A current National Police Clearance
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test

General Duties:

  • Repair and maintain the hydraulic components of large mining equipment
  • Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune, maintain and test diesel powered heavy equipment including trucks, buses, dozers and other earth moving equipment
  • Completes tasks within set time frames
  • Communicate any safety or maintenance issues to the supervisor
  • Completing required safety duties such as job inspections, task planning, JHAs, Take 5s and other as required.
  • Other adhoc duties as requested by your Supervisor
