Due to expansion, Northern Star are recruiting trade passionate Heavy Duty Fitters interested in taking their career to the next level within the mining industry. No mining experience is required as Northern Star will provide on the job training for the right candidates.

Requirements: 

  • Hold an Australian recognised mechanical trade qualification;
  • Practical experience working within a heavy-duty environment;
  • Excellent fault finding skills with the ability to carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance;
  • Awareness of the mine safety and inspection act and regulations;
  • Minimum “C” class unencumbered drivers licence’
  • A commitment to safety and health practices.
