Gruyere is one of Western Australia’s most exciting new gold mines. Gold Road Resources and Gold Fields are proud to have an established 50/50 JV partnership over Gruyere.

Role Details:

Reporting to the Supervisor: Mechanical, your responsibilities will include providing quality and timely preventative lubrication maintenance and repairs of the processing facilities and other areas of the operation.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) from Perth or drive-in, drive-out (DIDO) from the Goldfields region.

Duties of the role:

  • Apply effective preventative lubrication practices including contamination control, scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting and timely repair of equipment;
  • Ensure optimum equipment performance and availability;
  • Report hazards, damage, breakdowns, and potential stoppages to a Supervisor;
  • Provide reliable and accurate maintenance knowledge and practical application to minimise downtime;
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures;
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout workshops and areas where works carried out;
  • Recording all relevant information into Gold Fields CMMS- AMT/SAP as required;
  • Oil sampling and report faults to supervisor.

About You

You will have:

  • A valid drivers licence;
  • An Australian recognised Trade Qualification;
  • Lubrication systems knowledge;
  • Prior experience dealing with routine and preventative lubrication services.
