Position: Mine Surveyor

 

Work Location: Available vacancies at Porphyry (extension of Carosue Dam), Ramone (extension of Jundee) and Jundee.

 

Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off   

 

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Oversee the survey marks out of drill and blast rings, mine heading development, exploration drilling and raise bore drilling.
  • Survey control for all related mining activities.
  • Assist with survey plans including survey instructions (horizontal and vertical development), end of month surveys, dig permits and emergency response plans.
  • Survey of end of month development and ore stockpiles, stope surveys, heading development, geological mapping and surface works when required.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

 

Experience:

  • Competency and exposure to Deswik.
  • Practical time in a mechanized hard-rock underground environment.
  • Knowledge in forward planning and exposure to fast-paced environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Surveying.
  • Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s licence.
