Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has an estimated 10+ year mine life forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces in FY26.

Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks production with exploration potential expected to grow the current high-grade resource.

The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and development of major gold mines.

Bellevue Gold has the ambitious goal of net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for the Bellevue Gold Project by 2026. This will be underpinned by a sector-leading renewable energy power station, with a forecast 70-80% renewable energy penetration rate.

The Vacation Mining Engineer will gain industry experience through participation in a structured development program. The Vacation Mining Engineer will initially gain practical operating experience by rotating through various tasks in an Underground Mining environment which will also form part of their underground experience required for their First Class Mine Manager’s certification in the future.

The Vacation Mining Engineer will also be responsible for assisting the Underground Engineers in ongoing underground operations and critical infrastructure projects. You will gain knowledge and associated skills which are relevant to the gold mining industry and discipline specific training.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Underground practical experience and training to satisfy the requirements to attain the First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate (FCMM) under the WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022.
• Undertaking general engineering office duties with training in ventilation, drill and blast and major infrastructure projects (primary fan installations, underground magazine, underground fuel bay, surface raisebore).
• Contribute to the team culture and success.
• Assist with timely, accurate reporting within the Mining Department.

Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

• Currently studying a degree in Mining Engineering
• Proficient in technical writing, reporting and communicating of technical data to relevant parties as required
• Demonstrated safety and communication skills
• 1st Aid training and 4WD experience desirable
• Manual WA Drivers License
