Northern Star Resources currently has an opportunity for a Senior Mine Planning Engineer to join the team at our Jundee Operations. Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, you will lead a team of planning engineers, build capability, and deliver monthly, three-monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts. This position operates on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, FIFO from Perth.

To thrive in this role, you will need
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in underground mine planning within hard rock operations, with a demonstrated focus on short, medium, and long-term planning and forecasting. Competency in Deswik packages (Scheduler, CAD, SO), experience in financial modelling and cost estimation, and the ability to analyse risk, communicate planning assumptions, and deliver clear, data-driven presentations.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering, along with a current Australian C-Class Driver’s Licence. A WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency is desirable.
