The purpose of the Shotcreter role is to carry out shotcrete spraying tasks and operating heavy mobile equipment in an underground mining environment.

About the role

The Shotcreter role is crucial for safe and effective construction of vent and paste walls for the underground mine at Mungari gold operation. Key result areas in this role include:

• Safe, effective and productive operation of the shotcrete machinery in the application of primary ground support
• Ensure safe and efficient completion of tasks assigned by the Paste Crew Supervisor
• Work as part of a multi-skilled crew in spraying declines, rehab spraying, paste walls and general mine service work
• Be part of a multi-skilled crew

About our Operation

Our Mungari gold operation is both open pit and underground, located 20km west of Kalgoorlie and 600km east of Perth in Western Australia. Being a residential mine, our employees go home every night, with many living in the local community of Kalgoorlie. Throughout the year there are many cultural and community events to enjoy and for families there are several schools, parks and sporting clubs. About you

As Shotcreter it is important that you have/ can demonstrate:

• 2 years of experience in a shotcrete or nozzleman role, with knowledge of concrete additives and aggregates
• 2 years of experience in an underground mining experience
• Strong focus on safety at all times
