We are looking for a Senior Geologist – Operations to join our Jundee Operations.

Reporting to the Geology Superintendent, you will lead a team and oversee underground ore control across day and night shift, working closely with mine planning, production and resource geology teams.

This role will suit an experienced Senior Geologist or underground Project Geologist ready to take the next step into operational leadership.

• Lead and develop a team of Project Geologists, Mine Geologists, Graduates and Technicians.
• Take accountability for underground ore control across day and night shift.
• Provide geological input into development and stope design.
• Own stope reconciliation and end-of-month reporting.
• Act as the primary geology interface with mine planning and production.
• Work within an integrated geology team spanning growth, resource estimation and operations.
• Contribute directly to the geological interpretation and decisions that shape future mining areas.

Where you’ll add value:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the resources industry, ideally within underground hard rock mining environments.
• Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to positively lead and develop a team.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly across planning and production.
• Ability to work collaboratively across operations, resource estimation and growth functions.
• Competence in Leapfrog and Datamine is advantageous.
• A practical, diligent and creative approach to geological interpretation and problem-solving.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology
• WA C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
