Employment Programs

Apprenticeships

As part of the Perenti Group, Barminco, Ausdrill ant BTP offer maintenance apprenticeships in Australia. They provide on-the-job training at their fully-equipped site-based workshops across Australia and at their central workshop in Perth, Western Australia. Apprentice opportunities include HD Fitter, LV Fitter, Auto Electrician and Boilermaker.

Graduate Program

As part of the Perenti Group, Barminco provides hands-on, practical experience and structured training for mining engineers over a two and a half-year program. Their graduates not only get to experience all aspects of working in an underground mine, but they also work towards qualifying for a First-Clas Mine Managers Certificate.

Vacation Work

As part of the Perenti Group, Barminco’s Vacation Work Program is open to students currently completing a degree in Mining Engineering and looking to gain valuable underground experience. They encourage successful students to participate in further Vacation Work (including Winter work) with Barminco over the course of their degree, with the goal of joining the Barminco Graduate Program upon final completion.
