The Light Vehicle Fitter will be responsible for undertaking scheduled maintenance, repairs and installations within the underground mobile equipment.

• Roster: 8:6
• Residential role based in Kalgoorlie (be home with your family each night)

About the role

As LV Fitter, you will work as part of the mobile maintenance team to maintain a fleet of underground Toyota Land Cruisers. We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking LV Fitter to join our close-knit workshop team.

Key result areas in this role include:

• Work cooperatively with the supervisor to maintain the mobile equipment
• Complete assigned work and associated paperwork to a high standard
• Work as part of the team to continuously comply with and improve work safety, practices and procedures

About our Operation

Our Mungari gold operation is both open pit and underground, located 20km west of Kalgoorlie and 600km east of Perth in Western Australia. Being a residential mine, our employees go home every night, with many living in the local community of Kalgoorlie. Throughout the year there are many cultural and community events to enjoy and for families there are several schools, parks and sporting clubs. About you

As LV Fitter, you will have previously experience in fixed and mobile plant maintenance in a mining environment.

• Trade qualified

• Self-motivated with sound problem solving skills
• A team player
