About the role

Reporting to the Executive Administrator, the Receptionist / Administration Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our internal team plus external stakeholders.

This role is offered on an eight month maximum term basis, based in West Perth working Monday to Friday supporting our existing team whilst the incumbent is on parental leave.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for the Company, greeting visitors and managing incoming calls in a friendly professional manner;
  • Provide general administration support that encompasses document creation, maintaining registers, office and confidential filing, scanning, printing, staff amenities and other tasks as required;
  • Provide support and assistance to other departments;
  • Facilitate use and management of meeting room bookings, setup and catering requirements;
  • Assist with coordination of corporate events when required; and
  • Maintain presentation and safety of office and common areas.

About yourself

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a receptionist and/or administration assistant in a corporate office environment;
  • Proficient in software packages including MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), SharePoint and Microsoft Teams;
  • A demonstrated understanding of accounting practices and principles, i.e. invoices, supplier terms and conditions, purchase orders;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with proficiency in collaboration; and
  • A friendly and professional manner.
