THE ROLE

Applications are sought from Graduate Mine Surveyors, to join the team at Ora Banda.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Ensure that survey equipment is well maintained and in good working order.
  • Carry out all survey tasks as requested by the Senior Mine Surveyor.
  • Ensure routine tasks are performed in accordance with survey procedures and standards.
  • Assist with set outs, pickups and mark-ups as required for mining.
  • Assist with the collection and processing of survey data, production of plans, reports, and other forms of spatial information, including systems to ensure integrity and continued availability of data.
  • Continual progression to working autonomously.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • To have or be in the process of achieving a Survey Qualification (Diploma or Higher)
  • Experience with basic office software (Microsoft Excel, Outlook etc.)
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong focus towards teamwork.
