About the Role

The Inventory Controller is a newly created, site critical position within Evolution Mining’s Mungari operation, responsible for overseeing and optimising inventory management systems and processes across site warehouses.

Reporting to the Supply Superintendent, this role has been established to centralise accountability for inventory control, improve stock accuracy, and optimise material availability across multiple warehouses following recent site integrations. You will play a key role in ensuring catalogue integrity, maintaining minimum stock levels, identifying usage trends, and driving continuous improvement opportunities that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the warehouse operation.

Working closely with Supply, Maintenance, Underground and other site stakeholders, this position offers a high level of autonomy and influence, with exposure to complex, large scale mining inventory operations.

This position is offered on a residential 5:2:4:3 roster (10?hour days), based in Kalgoorlie. Candidates must be currently based in the Kalgoorlie/Boulder region or willing to relocate within Australia (relocation support provided).

About You

You are an experienced and grounded inventory professional with a strong background in mine site or heavy industry warehousing and inventory control. You bring a calm, accountable and solutions focused approach to your work, and are comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across site who rely on accurate and timely access to materials.

You are confident working autonomously, take ownership of outcomes, and have the maturity to navigate change, competing priorities, and emotionally invested stakeholders. You value accuracy, structure and continuous improvement, and are motivated by the opportunity to optimise systems and processes at a site?wide level.

Key attributes you will also possess include:

• Extensive experience in stores and inventory control within a mining or similarly regulated industrial environment
• Proven track record of maintaining high stock accuracy and effective inventory governance
• Strong understanding of rotables management and warehouse catalogue control
• Experience working across multiple warehouses or distributed logistics environments
• Proficiency in inventory and ERP systems (Pronto – highly desirable)
• Strong analytical and problem?solving skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and develop practical solutions
• Mandatory requirements: WA C Class Driver’s Licence (manual), and Dangerous Goods Licence.
