About Us

Regis Resources Limited (ASX: RRL) is an ASX 200, Perth based gold mining and exploration company with a proven management team that has a successful track record of developing numerous gold operations.

We are a purely Australian gold miner with operations at the Duketon Gold Project in the North Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia and the McPhillamys Gold Project in the Central Western region of New South Wales.

The Role

Due to business expansions, opportunities have become available for motivated Mine Surveyors who wish to expand their career to join our progressive technical team at our Duketon operations.

Working on a 2:1 roster FIFO from Perth, you will be responsible for all survey requirements associated with mining operations and exploration general surface surveys.

Your duties will include but not be limited to – 

  • Carry out inpit set outs, pickups, mark-ups, for mining and GC;
  • Ensure pits and waste dumps are mined and constructed to design;
  • Complete EOM flyovers, volume calculations and reports;
  • Prism monitoring – installation, maintenance and reporting;
  • Providing technical support to other departments as required; and
  • Working with team members to ensure that safety, business and production targets are achieved across the operation.

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Tertiary level qualification in Surveying;
  • Open pit mine surveying experience;
  • Un-restricted WA, Class C, manual driver’s licence;
  • Trimble GPS and total station experience (desirable);
  • Competent in Surpac surveying software; and
  • Experience in flying drones and processing associated data.
