What you will be doing
Reporting to the Supervisor – Mine Maintenance Loading you will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of mechanical systems and components on the Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) Loading Fleet. You will ensure maintenance activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner, maximising the usage of scheduled maintenance and minimising the impact of unscheduled maintenance through quality and effective work.

Who you are
You will be a trade qualified Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic or equivalent, with significant experience in maintaining and servicing Caterpillar 7495  rope and 6090 hydraulic shovels as well as 6040 hydraulic excavators. Your multi-skilling in the areas of fault finding and diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance services, and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and 24V auto electrical as well as CAT SIS and ET experience is essential. As a minimum you will have a C class manual driver’s licence and basic computer skills.

Ideally you will also have:-
• A MR Class Driver’s Licence
• A High Risk Licence (crane, rigging, dogging, forklift, elevated work platform)
• SAP experience
• Six Sigma / Lean Belts experience
• Failure Analysis experience
• A Senior First Aid Certificate

You will demonstrate your commitment to safety and use your experience and judgement to ensure yourself and your workmates stay safe. Your ability to set good examples of work ethic and integrity together with your positive mind set in dealing with work and people will be highly regarded.
