Reporting to the Senior Engineer: Mine Planning, you will deliver short- and medium?term planning and scheduling for underground operations to meet safety, production and cost targets aligned with St Ives’ strategic objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop the rolling 18-month mining schedule in line with budget requirements.
  • Assist with budget schedule preparation.
  • Ensure mine plans consider ventilation, infrastructure and paste fill needs
  • Prepare stope designs, level plan layouts, and mining instructions aligned with operational mining schedule.
  • Create infrastructure plans and schedules aligned with mining interactions and budget constraints
  • Provide planning guidance to Production and support weekly scheduling
  • Collaborate across departments to support key projects

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Mining Engineering, or a related discipline
  • WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate (completed or ability to obtain)
  • Strong underground engineering experience, ideally in gold.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and mining software (Deswik CAD, Deswik Scheduler, Ventsim)
  • Manual Driver’s license
