• 1-hour flight from Perth
• Ideal role for an experienced underground Production Engineer

The Opportunity:

As we grow our crews, you’ll work closely with a diverse, high-performing team on our Underground Mining Team at Agnew Gold Mine.

Reporting to the Senior Engineer: Mine Production, you will be responsible for drill-and-blast designs and short-term scheduling in line with short- to medium-term plans.

What You’ll Do

• Play a role in guiding the mine to success by developing and implementing 2-weekly production plans that align the mine to its mid and long-term plan
• Contribute to continuous improvement through your analysis of stoping performance and optimization of dilution and recovery.
• Role model our core values and create a culture where every team member feels seen, supported, and valued.

What You’ll Bring

• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, or a related discipline, plus and manual driver’s licence.
• Previous experience within underground hard rock engineering, with drill and blast design, preferably gold
• Demonstrated exposure to drill and blast design software is essential, preferably Deswik.
