Regis Resources Limited (ASX: RRL) is an ASX 200, Perth based purely Australian gold mining and exploration company with a proven management team that has a successful track record of developing gold operations.

Operations at the Duketon Gold Project incorporates +10 open pits surrounding the Moolart Well, Garden Well and Rosemont processing plants in the NE Goldfields of WA, treating ~10Mtpa to produce +350Kozs per year.

Regis has recently commissioned the Rosemont Underground mine which will produce ~600Ktpa, and has plans to increase Duketon gold production through the development of additional underground resources as well as an active exploration program around the Duketon field. The Company is also seeking to develop the McPhillamys Gold Project in the Central West region of NSW.

We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a 2:1 roster at the Duketon Gold Project’s Rosemont Mine.

Key criteria:

  • Coordinate and conduct scheduled Maintenance inspections of Fixed Plant
  • Fault finding and Electrical repairs as required to the fixed plant
  • Operation of the associated machinery, i.e. Crane, EWP etc.
  • Mentoring Electrical Maintenance Trades staff
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and attention to detail
  • Maintain accurate records of plant and statutory testing

Qualifications and experience:

  • Trade Qualifications as an Electrician
  • Sufficient qualifications and experience for appointment as the Statutory Electrical Supervisor
  • Hold an Electrical Contractors Ticket or Equivalent to be able to hold the In House Nominees licence
  • 10 years mining or similar heavy industry experience as an Electrician
  • 3 years Supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated skills in report writing, spreadsheets, costing systems, cost control
  • Demonstrated supervisory and employee management skills, prior experience in an Electrical Supervisor’s role
  • HV Ticket essential
  • Demonstrated skills in achieving safe-production targets
  • Ability to work well in a small team environment
  • Current WA class C manual drivers licence
