About the role

Reporting to the Superintendent – Supply and Contracts, the Senior Contracts Advisor is responsible for providing high?quality contracting and commercial support to ensure safe, reliable and commercially sound operations across Ernest Henry. You will play a key role in supporting end users by managing tenders, contracts, and procurement activities, ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and aligned with governance and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing end?to?end contracting activities including tender preparation, evaluation, negotiation and award
• Ensuring purchase requisitions, contract documentation and scopes of work are complete, accurate and compliant
• Conducting commercial analysis, cost reviews and supplier performance assessments
• Identifying value opportunities and cost efficiencies across goods and services
• Monitoring contract integrity, highlighting risks, and escalating issues when required
• Supporting internal stakeholders with commercial guidance and contract interpretation
• Maintaining data accuracy and record integrity within procurement and contract management systems

About You

You are an experienced contracts or commercial professional with strong contract management, procurement and legal capability. You bring excellent communication skills, the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, and a solid understanding of contracting processes, governance and analysis. Experience with systems such as SuccessFactors, Pronto and Microsoft Office is highly regarded. You are detail?oriented, rigorous with documentation, and committed to ethical procurement practices.
