Following the ongoing success of our business succession strategy, our Carosue Dam and Jundee operations are now seeking for driven Senior Production Engineers. Whether you are looking for a step up or a seasoned Senior that wants to be a ticket holder, we can accommodate.

The role will be working on a back to back 8 days on, 6 days off rotation, flying in and out of Perth. 

Here’s what awaits you:

• Lead and mentor team of Drill and Blast, Ventilation & Infrastructure Engineers.
• In absence of the Alternate Underground Manager, will be required to fill the role of Alternate Underground Manager.
• Responsibility for the development of functional work plans for the Mining Department ensuring production and strategic requirements are met.
• Review and approve production drilling and charging plans.
• Conceptualise, initiate, present and implement specific improvement projects including any specific infrastructure projects required for productivity and profitability gains by the mine.
• Coordinate and manage the stope reconciliation process generating and keeping the required internal reporting records such as end of month & end of stope reconciliations.
• Coordinate and manage the end of month summaries and reports and any other measures that may be required to enable good management of the mine and the mining contract (e.g. KPI rising summary report, Mining EOM report.)

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience:

• Competent user of Deswik packages (UGDB, IS, CAD)
• Proven success in leading large multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of budgets and mining cost drivers. 
• Practical experience on large scale underground mining operations, including contract management.
• Ability to influence, communicate risks, realistic plans and delivering compelling presentations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering.
• WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (desirable).
• WA Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency (desirable).
