The Norseman Gold Project is wholly owned by Pantoro Ltd and is in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, at the southern end of the highly productive Norseman-Wiluna greenstone belt. Pantoro has completed over 300,000 metres of RC and diamond drilling, defined Ore Reserves of over 970,000 ounces, completed construction of a new 1 MTPA gold processing plant and recommenced production. The current Mineral Resource is 4.8 million ounces of gold. Historically, the Norseman Project areas have produced over 5.5 million ounces of gold since operations began in 1935, and is one of, if not the highest-grade fields within the Yilgarn Craton.
The Details
As the Senior Mining Engineer reporting to the Underground Manager, you will be responsible for delivering technical services support across both planning and production for the mining operation, whilst liaising with the UG mining Contractor.

The project is serviced by a new accommodation village situated within the Norseman township with full messing facilities. Employees will also have access to the town facilities and services, providing the best of both worlds while on site.

Pantoro has commenced its second underground operation online at the Scotia Deposit located 35 kilometres south of the companies 1Mtpa processing facility. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to be part of the startup of a new underground operation that offers exposure and the opportunity to gain and consolidate experience, from project planning to the successful execution of an underground operation that will add significant value to the overall Norseman Gold project.
Existing mine life is approaching 10 years. Ongoing organic growth is expected with six drill rigs focussed on Ore Reserve growth currently operating

Pantoro is a growing Australian gold producer with established operations at Halls Creek and the development of the Norseman Gold Project. Open Cut and Underground mining operations commenced early 2022, to enable ore development and stock to be ready for the new processing plant.
