As a Blaster/Painter Technician within the Asset Integrity team, you will play a key role in maintaining and protecting critical plant infrastructure to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Tropicana processing facility. Working directly with the Asset Integrity Supervisor and broader Maintenance team, you will contribute to achieving operational excellence through high-quality corrosion protection and asset preservation activities.

  • Perform abrasive blasting, industrial coating, and protective maintenance activities in accordance with site standards, specifications, and maintenance strategies.
  • Support the Asset Integrity Supervisor in the execution of maintenance plans, delivering work to the required quality, safety, and performance standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide timely feedback on complete work, equipment condition, and improvement opportunities through SAP systems.
  • Build strong working relationships across operational and maintenance teams, promoting effective communication, collaboration, and shared understanding of asset integrity objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance asset reliability, plant availability, and cost-effective maintenance outcomes.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic mining environment while contributing to the long-term integrity and performance of a world-class gold processing operation.
