What’s the opportunity?

The current sub-level cave at Northparkes offers a solid 10-year mine life, including five years of development mining. Following this, Evolution Mining has a pipeline of future projects that will extend operations for another decade. Reporting to the Underground Mining Supervisor, this hands-on role is your chance to be part of the exciting development of the new Sub Level Cave operation at E26. You’ll play a key part in safely and efficiently delivering ore to the mill, contributing to a high-performing team in a fast-paced underground environment.

Based at our Northparkes Operations you’ll:

• Champion safety by following procedures, using the right equipment, and setting the standard for others.
• Tackle a variety of tasks based on priorities set by the Development Shift Supervisor, no two shifts are the same!
• Take ownership of health, safety, and security, identifying risks and promoting a safety-first culture across Evolution.
• Live and breathe the Evolution Mining values in everything you do.

• You’re based in Parkes or ready to make the move to this thriving regional hub.
• You bring at least 12 months of experience in a similar underground mining role.
• Remote operating experience? That’s a big plus, but not a dealbreaker.
• You thrive in a multiskilled team and know how to get the job done together.
• You hold a Working at Heights certification and have security clearance to handle explosives or the ability to gain this clearance.
• Safety isn’t just a requirement, it’s how you work.
• Hold a current “C” Class Australian Manual Driver’s Licence.
