Operations
Leonora Operations
Job Type: Residential, FIFO and DIDO
The Gwalia Gold Mine is located 3km south of Leonora, Western Australia and is the cornerstone of the Leonora Operations. The mine has 2.1 million ounces of gold in reserves at a grade of 6.4g per tonne.
Operational site based rosters are 8 days on, 6 days off or 4 days on, 3 days off.
The Leonora Village was fully refurbished in 2008 and has since received upgrades to provide comfortable and pleasant accommodation for all employees. Located in Leonora and only a short drive from site, all rooms have ensuites and access to an onsite gym and pool. An active Social Club and organised sports and events in the community support a friendly and warm environment when working at Leonora Operations.
