Assistant Geology
Part Time

Residential role | 8/6 day shift roster at St Ives | Kalgoorlie or Kambalda
Develop practical, hands-on geology experience across, Exploration, production and drilling
Manual Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence 

The Opportunity:
In this role, you will provide quality geology technical services to support safe, efficient, and high-quality ore extraction as part of our Geology team at our owner-operated St Ives Gold Mine.

Skills & Qualifications
• Current manual driver’s licence
• Forklift licence required (preferred)

• HR Licence highly regarded
  • Experience in a similar role within the mining/resources environment (highly regarded)

About the Role
• Assist with production activities such as ore mark-ups, ore spotting, and collecting in-pit samples –

• Field work as required
  • Support RC drilling activities including sampling and rock chip collection
  • Assist with diamond drill core processing, cutting, and sampling
  • Maintain QAQC standards for sample handling and data recording
  • Manage (Assist) daily and weekly sample dispatch to the assay laboratory
