As Risk, Compliance and Training Senior Advisor you will provide governance, compliance and risk services in the area of Health, Safety, Environment and Training at our Mungari Gold Operation in Kalgoorlie, WA.

• Residential role based in Kalgoorlie (be home with your family each night)

About the role

The Senior Risk, Compliance and Training Advisor will report to the Manager for Sustainability. Key result areas in this role include:

• Provide specialist strategic risk management advice and quality assurance to support operational aspects of the site.
• Work alongside Health, Safety and Environment teams to uphold positive, business-focused culture and provide advice and training on managing risk and compliance.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify performance gaps, implement corrective actions, and develop practical risk assessments and management plans.

Our Mungari gold operation is both open pit and underground, located 20km west of Kalgoorlie and 600km east of Perth in Western Australia. Being a residential mine, our employees go home every night, with many living in the local community of Kalgoorlie. About you

As Senior Advisor, you will have demonstrated experience in applying risk, compliance and training tools to a mining,  industry or commercial environment. It is also important that you have/ can demonstrate:

• Knowledge and understanding of operational mining, processing and exploration processes and requirements
• 5+ years of experience in either a senior health &  safety or environmental role
• A sound understanding of Western Australia’s Mine Safety and Inspection Act, Mining  Act  and/or Environmental Protection Act and associated Regulation
