Northern Star Resources have a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Geology Technician in our Discovery team (Surface Drilling).

This opportunity is offered as residential in the Goldfields working a family friendly roster of 8/6, 11-hour days.

 

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Managing RC/DD/AC programs. flagging tracks, pad preparation, sampling, and rehab.
  • Process DD core, ori’s, metre marking, photographing, cutting, and sampling.
  • Field work, mapping, fencing, tenement pegging, DGPS collar pick-ups etc.

 

Qualifications: Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence, current approved and recognised forklift ticket (Desired). Strong attention to detail and safety.

 

Experience: Computer literacy with the ability to use Microsoft office products, excellent numeracy skills, good communication skills, written and verbal, strong attention to detail, ability to plan daily activities and meet deadlines, ability to work unsupervised as required and as part of a team, flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices.
