Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines Pty Ltd (KCGM) is currently seeking an experienced Operational Technology Technician for the Technical Services Department at the Fimiston Superpit operation.

The successful candidate will manage, maintain and develop Operational Technology systems to enable Mine Operations to meet production requirements in a safe and efficient manner.

This is a residential role on a 8/6 roster.

Requirements

Essential

  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
  • Highly developed computer literacy including Information Technology networking skills.
  • Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in computer science, networking and/or electronics, or extensive experience in a relevant field.
  • Must reside within the Goldfields region for this residential opportunity
  • Current Unencumbered Western Australian “C” Class Drivers Licence.

Preferred

  • Experience in an Open Pit mining environment.
  • Very high competency in Dispatch Systems, Mesh Networks, Trunked Digital Radio.
