About the Role

As a Mine Surveyor on our E22 Underground Project, you will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient development of one of Australia’s most exciting block cave projects. Working across both underground and surface operations, you will provide critical survey control, spatial data management, and compliance assurance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of mine development.

This is a hands on role within a high performing project team, where you will contribute across development, infrastructure installation and production activities. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate mine plans and 3D models, completing as built surveys, and identifying and resolving variances against design.

You’ll also support geotechnical monitoring (including deformation and cave tracking), assist with drillhole set out and services installation, and contribute to survey reporting and reconciliation processes. With exposure to project delivery and block cave development, this role offers the opportunity to broaden your experience while playing a direct part in shaping the future of our Northparkes operation.

About You

You are a motivated and detail oriented Surveyor with a genuine interest in underground mining and project environments. You bring a strong technical foundation along with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and disciplines.

You will bring:

• 3-5 year’s experience in underground mining survey
• A Degree or Advanced Diploma in Surveying
• Remote Pilot Licence or exposure to UAV’s (desirable)
• Progressing to wards registration as a Mining Surveyor (UG Metalliferous in NSW)
• Experience establishing and maintaining survey control networks and ensuring compliance to mine designs
• Strong capability in spatial data management, mine planning and 3D modelling
• Proficiency in Deswik CAD (with MDM/FM exposure advantageous)
• Experience using survey equipment such as Leica or Trimble
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and a proactive approach in the field
