About the Role

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in mining operations? As our Risk and Improvement Advisor, you will support and strengthen risk and compliance processes across open-cut, underground, and ore processing operations at Mungari.

Working closely with site leaders and technical specialists, you will help ensure risk controls are applied consistently, support operational teams, and contribute to improving safety and sustainability outcomes.

This role is suited to someone who has already built a solid foundation in risk or safety and is looking to further develop their capability in a complex, site-based mining environment.

Choose the roster that best suits your lifestyle – 8:6 FIFO from Perth or a residential Kalgoorlie option.

A typical day involves:

• Supporting Risk Frameworks: Assisting with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the site risk framework in line with Evolution standards and legislative requirements
• Risk Management Delivery: Supporting the review and update of Material and Critical Risk Management Plans, ensuring risks and controls remain current and effective.
• Advisory Support: Providing practical, day-to-day guidance to leaders and frontline teams on risk and safety systems.
• Management of Change (MoC): Assisting with the coordination and application of MoC processes across site activities

About You

You are a capable Risk, Safety or Sustainability professional with 3–5 years’ experience and a solid grounding in operational environments. You take a practical, direct approach and enjoy working closely with site teams to support consistent risk and safety practices.

You are confident engaging with supervisors and emerging leaders, and comfortable working independently on core tasks while continuing to build your technical capability.

Organised, approachable and solutions-focused, you are motivated by continuous improvement and contributing to a strong safety culture.

Can you tick the following criteria?

• 3–5 years’ experience in risk, safety, compliance, or sustainability roles, ideally within mining or a similar operational environment
• Exposure to mine site operations (open pit, underground or processing highly regarded)
• Tertiary qualification in Sustainability, Risk Management, WHS or a related discipline (desirable)
• Working knowledge of risk management principles and critical controls
• Experience using INX or similar safety systems, with solid capability in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Exposure to incident investigations (e.g. ICAM) and audits (desirable)
