The Opportunity:

Your expertise will shape the future of Agnew Gold Mine and Goldfields as a whole. You’ll have the opportunity to support safe, reliable and future-focused plant electrical performance for our Maintenance Department at our Agnew Site

What You’ll Do

  • Lead work programs including Defect Elimination, Equipment efficiency
  • Provide leadership to the Engineering team and prioritise incoming work
  • Keep Agnew’s electrical standards up to date and compliant with national and international regulations
  • Lead the electrical scope of major projects and maintenance activities within the Processing Plant and Non-Processing Infrastructure
  • Provide technical advice to contractors and ensure work meets best practice
  • Collaborate with end users to ensure smooth handovers of new or upgraded equipment, including documentation and spare parts
  • Support project cost control and budget management
  • Role model our core values and create a culture where every team member feels seen, supported, and valued.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering and current manual C- class driver’s licence.
  • Previous experience in mining and/ heavy industry
  • HV distribution and processing plant experience
  • Advanced SAP and Microsoft Office skills
  • A growth mindset, with strong communication, responsibility, and relationship-building skills.
