The Opportunity:

Lead the safe, successful and efficient delivery of mobile equipment projects that keep Gold Fields Australia moving. As the Superintendent – Offsite Projects, you will oversee the full lifecycle of mobile asset projects — from new fleet introduction and OEM commissioning to major rebuilds, rotable component programs and off?site overhaul activities.

You will be accountable for the safe execution and seamless deployment of new and rebuilt assets, ensuring every machine is properly inspected, commissioned and supported before entering operational service. A key part of the role is managing critical component inventories to protect production continuity and minimise downtime risk.

Working closely with the Senior Manager – Mobile Assets, you will ensure that delivery and rebuild programs translate into reliable, high?performing fleet assets at site. Your leadership will shape how assets are onboarded, how rebuild quality is assured, and how project outcomes support long?term fleet performance.

This is a role for a strong organiser and influencer — someone who can coordinate OEMs, contractors and internal teams, drive disciplined project execution, and ensure every asset arrives ready for safe, productive operation.
