The Opportunity

We’re seeking an Underground HD Fitter (day shift only) to join our Mobile Maintenance team at Granny Smith. If long term stability and job security are important to you, this is your opportunity to secure your future with a leading global gold producer.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Australian recognised Heavy Mechanical Trade Qualification or Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology
  • Automotive Air Conditioning Licence desirable
  • High Risk Licences including Forklift, EWP, Basic Rigging and Dogging desirable
  • Valid WA Manual Driver’s Licence at minimum
  • Experience working in a mining environment, preferably underground
  • Proven mechanical experience on heavy mining equipment across servicing, preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair work, with the ability to interpret hydraulic systems and schematics
  • Exposure to SAP desirable

 

Whilst we recognise not everyone will tick every box, we strongly encourage tradespeople with experience working on heavy mining equipment across surface/ open pit mining operations to apply, including those who have recently completed their apprenticeship.
