THE ROLE

Applications are sought from experienced Service Infrastructure Tradespersons with Electrical, refrigeration and air-conditioning licence to join the team at Ora Banda.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Conduct audits for work required within the site-based infrastructure including camp, rooms, wet and dry messes, and offices
  • General maintenance in laundry, AC units, room repairs
  • Maintain, diagnose, repair commercial kitchen equipment
  • Gardening and reticulation work
  • Basic plumbing works – water leak repairs, tap and shower repairs, pipework upgrades as required
  • Continuously develop and improve housekeeping
  • Maintain parts storage and re-order any necessary parts
  • Ensure workshop tools and equipment are in safe working order
  • Enter work orders for works found
  • Plan and estimate materials for works
  • Complete time-based work order monitoring in Pronto and prioritise work orders
  • Demonstrate diagnostic and technical skills
  • Work as part of the Maintenance Team to ensure  all  activities  are  performed  in  a  safe,  timely, professional and effective manner with minimal disruption.
  • JHA development and reviews completed and within scheduled time.
  • Pre-start/ work area inspections carried out every shift.
  • Will be required to assist other maintenance staff, or plant operations and perform in cross departmental requirements.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • A Grade Electrical Licence
  • Full refrigeration and air conditioning licence
  • Handy person activities – 2 years
  • Poly welding certification (desirable)
  • St Johns Senior First Aid certificate (desirable)
  • Pronto experience (desirable)
  • Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Working at Heights and Confined Space Ticketed
  • Awareness of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations
  • Mine site experience desired.
