Operations

Davyhurst Processing Plant

The centrally located Davyhurst Processing Plant has a name plate throughput of 1.2 Mtpa and is currently processing 100% fresh rock sourced from Riverina and Sand King underground mines. The processing plant utilises a 3-stage crushing circuit, grinding circuit (two 1.3 MW mills), gravity and conventional carbon in pulp (CIP).

Over the past 3 years, there has been significant investment in this plant including upgrading, redesigning and automation of key components along with enhanced maintenance practices. The plant is now operating consistently at high availability and throughput rates.

Riverina Underground Mine

Riverina Underground mine is located 46 kms west of Menzies township and 48 kms north of the Davyhurst Processing Plant. Underground mining commenced in May 2023 and achieved commercial production in August 2024 with full payback of investment within 18 months.

The Riverina village is located 2.8 km from the mine offices and was built in 2021 with significant expansion and upgrades completed over the past 2 years, including a sports court and dry mess expansion.

The mining technique utilised is narrow vein sub level open stoping with a modern mining fleet. Twin boom jumbo drills, remote capable production longhole drills and the use of remote and automated bogging assists in achieving a targeted production rate of over 800,000 ore tonnes and delivering 80,000 – 90,000 ounces per annum. The mine is over 350 metres deep, with two declines servicing an orebody strike of over 700 metres.

Underground development, production activities and drilling are completed by tier one underground mining contractors with Ora Banda Mining providing all management, technical and support services.

Ore is transported via an external haulage contractor to the Davyhurst Processing Plant.

Sand King Underground Mine

Sand King Underground mine is located 83 kms northwest of Kalgoorlie and 37 kms southeast of the Davyhurst Processing Plant. Underground mining commenced in August 2024, stoping commenced in March 2025 achieving payback on investment in September 2025.

The mining technique utilised is sub level open stoping with a modern mining fleet. Twin boom jumbo drills, remote capable production longhole drills and the use of remote and automated bogging assist in achieving a targeted production rate of over 800,000 ore tonnes and delivering 80,000 – 90,000 ounces per annum. The mine is over 150 metres deep, with two declines servicing an orebody strike of over 900 metres. The mine designs incorporate a safety by design approach to ensure safe interactions for modern equipment, with infrastructure and services required for safe practices.

Underground development, production activities and drilling are completed by tier one underground specialist contractors with Ora Banda Mining providing all management, technical and support services.

Ore is transported via an external haulage contractor to the Davyhurst Processing Plant.
